About the role

Join The Onset, a specialist recruitment agency in Sydney, as a Recruitment Consultant. You will own a vertical or industry sector, build strategic relationships with decision‑makers, and have the freedom to grow existing accounts or open new ones.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end 360 recruitment cycles for technology, go‑to‑market, executive, legal, accounting, supply chain or logistics roles.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with senior stakeholders, delivering tailored talent solutions.
• Leverage The Onset’s marketing, AI tools and research team to source and place high‑performing candidates.

Required profile

• 2+ years of 360 recruitment experience, preferably in Australia.
• Deep knowledge of a specific niche (tech or industry) and the ability to own it.
• Self‑driven mindset, seeking influence as a market expert rather than micromanagement.

Required skills

• Full‑cycle recruitment (sourcing, interviewing, negotiating offers).
• Strong networking and relationship‑building abilities with senior leaders.
