Recruitment Consultant

About the role

Mergent, a 100% Australian-owned recruitment and labour hire services team, is looking for an energetic Recruitment Consultant to join its team in Norwood, South Australia. You will proactively recruit for diverse roles across locations and industries, working closely with the business operations team to identify quality talent and connect them with clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage with top talent for roles across different industries and locations.
• Carry out thorough candidate assessments and onboarding to ensure the best fit for the role and company culture.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates for a smooth recruitment process.
• Work with the Business Development Manager to understand and meet client requirements.
• Manage client accounts, including regular site visits and candidate start-ups.
• Keep the database updated with client and candidate information.
• Handle general administration duties.

Required profile

• A proven track record in HR and 360-degree recruitment is desired but not essential.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proactive, results-driven approach to recruitment.
