Recruitment Consultant – Healthcare Permanent Placements

About the role

Medrecruit partners with doctors to support their careers, wellbeing and lifestyle goals, and is recruiting Recruitment Consultants (called Solutions Specialists) focused on permanent placements. You will act as a trusted advisor, building long-term relationships with doctors and healthcare clients, with a dedicated admin and operations team supporting you.

Key responsibilities

• Qualify doctors and align their goals with permanent opportunities across Australian hospitals and health services
• Work with healthcare organisations, including hospital executive leadership, to understand current and future permanent workforce needs
• Match candidates with job opportunities across states and territories
• Negotiate and finalise offers and agreements between clients and doctors
• Guide doctors and clients through notice periods, relocation and onboarding to start date and beyond

Required profile

• Proven experience in agency recruitment with a strong permanent placement track record; healthcare or medical staffing experience is a bonus
• Confidence engaging with senior doctors and hospital executives; direct experience at this level is not required
• Highly organised, proactive and able to handle multiple candidates, clients and deadlines
• Right to work in Australia

• Business development and cold calling to find permanent recruitment needs
• Communication, negotiation and listening with a consultative approach
• Managing a phone-based client portfolio across multiple stakeholders
• Meeting and exceeding placement, activity and revenue KPIs
