Recruiter / Senior Recruiter – Government (Sydney)

About the role

Charter Diligence is looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join its Government and White‑Collar Recruitment team in Sydney. Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, you will manage white‑collar recruitment assignments for ACT and NSW government agencies, local councils and private‑sector clients, while receiving dedicated support for onboarding and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage white‑collar recruitment assignments across ACT Government, NSW Government, local councils and private‑sector clients.
• Deliver recruitment services across relevant SCM0007 categories and meet government panel deadlines.
• Source, screen and interview candidates for temporary, contract and permanent roles.
• Prepare accurate, compliant candidate submissions and write clear candidate summaries.
• Develop talent pools for recurring and hard‑to‑fill vacancies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, contractors, hiring managers and procurement stakeholders.
• Coordinate onboarding, compliance and mobilisation with the Recruitment Support Coordinator.
• Advertise vacancies and proactively source candidates via SEEK, LinkedIn, referrals and professional networks.
• Support contractor growth, gross‑profit targets and contribute to workforce planning and tender requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant delivering white‑collar recruitment services.
• Practical experience working with the NSW Government SCM0007 Contingent Workforce Scheme.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments across government and private‑sector clients.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills with candidates, contractors and stakeholders.

• Proficiency with recruitment platforms such as SEEK and LinkedIn.
