Recreational Inclusion Officer

About the role

Sports 4 All is looking for a Recreational Inclusion Officer to plan and deliver group-based recreation, social and school holiday programs for children and adults with disability. It is a capacity-building role: every activity is planned and facilitated with a clear link to participants' NDIS plan goals, building skills, confidence, independence and social connection. The work is based in community recreation venues, outings and events, and school holiday program venues across four hub regions (Stanhope Gardens, Lake Macquarie, Batemans Bay/Malua Bay), as rostered.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-energy, inclusive recreation programs, social outings and school holiday programs for children and adults.
• Plan each session with a documented link to participants' NDIS plan goals (skill development, independence, confidence and social connection).
• Follow 4titude's WHS, incident reporting, safeguarding and risk management procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Community Services or similar, or relevant experience, or willingness to obtain one.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (state-based).
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
• Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• Current police check, as applicable.

Work is casual (casual pool), session-based with variable hours concentrated on weekends, school holidays and evenings; there is no guaranteed minimum and shifts depend on program demand. Pay is set under the SCHADS Award (Social and Community Services Employee classification), with exact classification and rate confirmed at offer stage.
