Rail Operations Manager - Goldfields

About the role

Aurizon is seeking an accomplished Regional Operations Manager to join its Western Australian leadership team and oversee the Goldfields rail operations. Based in Kalgoorlie or Esperance and reporting to the General Manager, the role leads operational delivery, builds trusted customer partnerships and drives the safe, reliable and commercially effective execution of supply chain services within the Bulk West team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily rail operations in the Bulk West network, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of freight.
• Develop and execute strategies that strengthen safety leadership across the region.
• Empower, support and manage regional operations leaders to deliver people, safety and performance outcomes.
• Drive customer outcomes by consistently meeting and exceeding operational performance expectations.
• Oversee end-to-end supply chain and P&L accountability for Kwinana and South West operations.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify, prioritise and deliver continuous improvement.
• Mitigate risk while delivering strategic priorities and supporting sustainable growth.
• Contribute to short-, medium- and long-term regional strategic plans and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
