Quantity Surveyors

About the role

Abergeldie is seeking Quantity Surveyors in Sydney to manage the financial and contractual aspects of water and civil infrastructure projects. You will support end‑to‑end commercial functions across the project lifecycle, ensuring accurate cost planning, procurement, forecasting and budget control.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with detailed cost estimation, budget development, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Manage procurement activities, including tender evaluations, contract preparation and administration.
• Support financial and commercial risk assessments and contribute to cost control strategies.
• Review subcontractor claims, variations and progress payments, and prepare progress claim documentation.

Required profile

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on civil and/or water infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical and numerical capability with the ability to interpret technical information.
• Experience in contract administration, procurement processes and financial controls.
