Quality Manager

About the role

Lendlease is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to support the delivery of its major construction pipeline in the Adelaide region. You will be responsible for preparing and managing the Project Quality Management Plan and collaborating with the Regional Quality Manager on audit planning, system compliance, and continuous improvement of the documented management system.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and implement the project QA audit schedule and conduct audits based on activity criticality.
• Participate in external and internal audits and assist project engineers with supplier, subcontractor, and consultant audits.
• Configure and maintain the Project Electronic Document Management System (e.g., ACONEX) according to Lendlease standards.
• Monitor ITP approval, calibration of measuring and test equipment, document and drawing control, and construction quality records.
• Prepare quality performance reports, highlighting trends, incidents, and issues for project reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably on Tier 1 major projects.
• Degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in a Quality Engineer or similar role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to work cross‑functionally.

Required skills

• ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Root cause analysis tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone analysis, and FMEA.
• Aconex electronic document management system.
• ITP (Inspection Test Plan) approval processes.
• Calibration of measuring and test equipment.
• Document and drawing control procedures.
