Quality Engineer – Automated Warehousing / DC

About the role

The Quality Engineer will support delivery of complex automated material handling systems across customer‑facing projects, ensuring quality is planned, executed and continuously improved throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement Project Qualification Plans with stakeholders.
• Lead problem investigations, applying root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Conduct on‑site and supplier quality audits, identifying risks early.
• Visit customer sites to evaluate processes and collaborate on improvement strategies.
• Facilitate cross‑functional discussions to align priorities and resolve quality issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in Quality Engineering or Project Quality roles.
• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Quality or related technical discipline.
• Certified Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor qualification (ISO9001 QMS).
• Strong experience with supplier and subcontractor quality management.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.

Required skills

• ISO9001 quality management system knowledge.
• Root cause analysis tools (Fishbone, 5 Whys, 8D, DMAIC, PDCA).
• Data analysis using Minitab and Power BI.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
