MRP & BOM Administrator

About the role

Join Dematic’s Operations team in Belrose as an MRP & BOM Administrator. You will maintain accurate Bills of Materials, MRP data and production planning information within the ERP system, supporting Production, Purchasing, Planning and Engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain Bills of Materials from engineering drawings and approved designs.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing routings, production steps, labour allocations and manufacturing times.
• Maintain accurate item master, planning and MRP data in the ERP system.
• Review MRP requirements, material shortages and planning exceptions.
• Manage purchased part information, including supplier details and pricing.
• Update BOMs and routings to reflect approved engineering changes.
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies impacting production, purchasing, inventory or costing.
• Generate BOM and MRP reports and identify process‑improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• 3–5 years’ experience in an MRP/ERP, manufacturing or production planning environment.
• Understanding of Bills of Materials, manufacturing routings, MRP and production planning processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong Excel, data‑management and analytical skills.
• Methodical approach with high attention to detail.
• Proactive in identifying issues, investigating root causes and collaborating on solutions.
