Field Service Technician – Industrial Electrical Support

About the role

Dematic is seeking a motivated Field Service Technician to provide hands‑on customer service across the Sydney region. The role involves contract repairs, preventative maintenance, installations and emergency breakdown services for Dematic customers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver NSW support including contract repairs, preventative maintenance, installations and emergency breakdown services.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call roster and work overtime, including weekends, as required.
• Maintain tools of trade such as a company vehicle, tools, uniform, mobile phone and laptop.

Required profile

• Australian Electrical trade licence/qualification (mandatory).
• Current driver’s licence.
• Ability to work unsupervised, make decisions and be results‑driven.
• Strong understanding of OHS requirements and safe work practices.

Required skills

• PLC experience (desirable).
• Automation, conveyors and material handling equipment knowledge.
• Experience with computerised maintenance systems (CMMS).
• Experience with pneumatic systems.
