Quality Control Inspector

About the role

The Quality Control Inspector ensures that components and assemblies meet PWR Engineering's strict specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations. This hands‑on position works with precision parts, technical drawings, and inspection equipment in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manual inspection and measurement of components and assemblies.
• Record pre‑ and post‑anodising measurements and maintain accurate data logs.
• Inspect welds and completed assemblies using visual and borescope techniques.
• Create measurement reports, balloon drawings, and quality records.
• Prepare Certificates of Conformance and part identification labels.
• Maintain work orders, travel sheets, and archived documentation.
• Kit components to Bill‑of‑Materials requirements.
• Assist with Romer Arm scanning and generate PolyWorks reports.
• Support resolution of quality issues on the production floor.

Required profile

• Experience with manual inspection and measurement of mechanical components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.
