Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

Join Monbeef as a Quality Assurance Officer and take responsibility for food safety, quality and regulatory compliance across our beef processing plant. You will work directly on the production floor, supporting audits, inspections and continuous‑improvement projects to uphold high export and domestic standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct quality and hygiene inspections in processing and dispatch areas.
• Monitor GMP, GHP, HACCP and food‑safety standards on the shop floor.
• Maintain accurate QA records for internal audits and external regulatory bodies.
• Identify non‑conformances and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Support product verification, microbiological testing and export audits.
• Provide QA guidance and training to production teams.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives and promote a strong food‑safety culture.

Required profile

• Experience in meat processing or a food‑manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, GHP and related food‑safety principles.
• Familiarity with AUSMEAT, DAFF export and GFSI requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record‑keeping.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive problem‑solving mindset and ability to build positive relationships across teams.
