Quality Assurance Manager

About the role

The Quality Assurance Manager will support the Director of Rooms and Executive Housekeeper in maintaining high standards across guest rooms and public areas at Mondrian Gold Coast. This hands‑on position ensures consistent brand delivery and exceptional guest experiences in a fast‑paced resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist daily inspections of guest rooms and public areas to verify brand and service standards.
• Monitor linen, uniform and minibar inventory, controlling costs and maintaining quality.
• Collaborate with Front Office and Engineering to return out‑of‑order rooms to service promptly.
• Respond to VIP and special guest requests, ensuring rooms are prepared ahead of arrival.
• Coach and mentor housekeeping staff, supporting onboarding and training.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in housekeeping or guest services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Flexibility to work across shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Current Australian driver’s licence (manual preferred) and confident English communication.
