Quality Assurance Manager – Civil Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee all quality assurance activities across civil construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, Australian Standards and ISO 9001 systems.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Prepare and manage Inspection Test Plans (ITP) and QA documentation.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Manage Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective actions.
• Support audits and liaise with clients, engineers and project teams.
• Ensure adherence to hold points and quality control processes.
• Maintain accurate QA records and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in QA/Quality Management within civil construction.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and Australian construction standards.
• Experience preparing QA documentation such as ITPs, NCRs and audit reports.
• White Card (Construction Induction) certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

What we offer

• Salary range AUD 85,000 – 95,000 per year plus superannuation, commensurate with experience.
