About the role
PEER is looking for an experienced Quality & Compliance Manager to lead the quality assurance, compliance and continuous improvement framework across its Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and Group Training Organisation (GTO). Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape governance, risk and performance across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet regulatory, contractual and organisational requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensure audit readiness and manage corrective actions.
- Monitor performance, manage compliance risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain compliance documentation and provide accurate reporting to executive and board stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and training on quality and compliance, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- Collaborate with leaders, trainers, field officers and external partners to ensure quality training, employment and learner outcomes.
Required profile
- Relevant tertiary qualification in governance, risk management, quality, business or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a quality and compliance role within regulated environments such as vocational education, apprenticeship or ISO sectors.
- Proven ability to lead quality assurance, audit and continuous improvement activities.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and change management skills.
- High integrity, professional judgement and commitment to quality outcomes.
Required skills
- Knowledge of Standards for RTOs, funded training contracts and apprenticeship/traineeship systems.
- Experience managing audits, compliance reviews and regulatory relationships.
- Analytical, detail‑oriented and excellent written communication.
