Electrical Lecturer – TAFE SA

About the role

The TAFE SA Lecturer in Electrical will deliver high‑quality training, assessment and guidance to students on the Tonsley campus, supporting the electrotechnology industry across commercial, industrial, domestic and mining sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess electrical training programmes in line with the UEE11/20 training package.
• Provide consultancy services to industry and community clients as required.
• Maintain current industry knowledge and ensure training reflects latest practices, including PLC and renewable energy technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of current experience in the electrotechnology industry.
• Current unrestricted electrical licence and at least a Certificate III in Electrical.
• Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services.

Required skills

• Practical electrical work and troubleshooting.
• Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) operation and programming.
• Knowledge of renewable energy systems.
