Quality Advisor – Civil

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quality Advisor – Civil to support the delivery of the Balance of Works package for Marinus Link Stage 1. Based in Leongatha, Victoria, you will ensure quality assurance and compliance across all civil construction activities on this high‑profile infrastructure project.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation of the Project Quality Management System, including ITPs, inspections, audits and quality documentation.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements and relevant standards.
• Conduct site surveillance, identify defects and NCRs, and assist with timely resolution and close‑out.
• Coordinate quality records and project completion documentation, ensuring PC artefacts are complete, accurate and delivered on schedule.
• Provide guidance and support to engineers, supervisors and subcontractors on quality processes and expectations.
• Build effective relationships with project teams, clients and subcontractors while promoting a strong quality and safety culture.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification or trade background in Civil, Structural, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a Quality Advisor, Quality Coordinator or similar role within civil construction or infrastructure projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and construction quality management systems.
• Strong understanding of civil construction practices, standards and specifications.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and problem‑solving abilities.
