QHSE Advisor – Safety Culture Champion

About the role
EnerMech is seeking a proactive QHSE Advisor to join its Gladstone team. You will work closely with operational leaders and project teams to strengthen safety culture and support safe, reliable operations across onshore projects.
Key responsibilities
- Provide practical QHSE advice and support to projects and operations.
- Build strong relationships with leaders and frontline personnel to promote engagement and proactive risk management.
- Support audits, inspections, investigations and assurance activities.
- Assist with injury management and workers' compensation processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QHSE systems, programs and APAC initiatives.
Required profile
- Proactive, energetic and self‑motivated with strong communication skills.
- Visible and approachable, comfortable working in operational environments.
- Passionate about helping people succeed safely and influencing positive behaviours.
- Willingness to travel within Queensland as required.
Required skills
- Certificate IV in WHS/HSE (or equivalent).
- Sound understanding of QHSE legislation, standards and requirements.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and relevant Australian Standards.
- Practical experience in injury management and workers' compensation.
