QA Lead

About the role

Gameloft Australia is seeking an experienced QA Lead to coordinate day‑to‑day QA activities across multiple projects. Working closely with the QA Director, you will manage priorities, delegate tasks, and act as a key liaison between QA, Development and other studio teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate QA activities, priorities and deliverables across multiple projects and milestones.
• Delegate and track QA tasks based on project priorities, timelines and team capacity.
• Act as a bridge between QA and Development, communicating bugs, priorities, requirements and project risks.
• Maintain bug tracking, QA plans, test documentation and supporting processes.
• Support the QA Director with team management, mentoring and performance development.

Required profile

• 5+ years of QA experience in the video game industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership or coordination role.
• Strong understanding of Agile development and software/game development processes.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize tasks across multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Passion for games and interest in the video game industry.

Required skills

• Jira or similar task‑tracking tools (e.g., Hansoft).
• Bug management, including severity, priority and release impact assessment.
• Experience with QA tools, test management systems or automation.
• Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as C++, C# or Python.
• Knowledge of game development tools such as Unreal Engine, Unity or Perforce.
