Pump Sales Manager - Energy & Infrastructure

About the role

Sulzer, a leading engineering company, is hiring a Pump Sales Manager for its Energy & Infrastructure business, based in Perth. The role drives customer engagement across Australia and Oceania and leads the full sales cycle for pump projects.

Key responsibilities

• Drive customer engagement across Australia and Oceania through direct and digital interactions
• Execute strategic sales and marketing activities aligned with sustainability, digital innovation and energy transition
• Lead contract negotiations and manage the full sales cycle in line with global standards and project requirements
• Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and high-growth sectors
• Maintain performance reporting, contribute to continuous improvement and meet or exceed sales targets
• Collaborate with global and local teams to share insights and improve customer-centric solutions

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Science or Business, or equivalent experience
• Industry experience including complex tenders and contract negotiation
• Background in quality assurance/management and knowledge of quality standards systems
• Trusted stakeholder management, customer-oriented mindset and business acumen
• Clear communication, strong negotiation and persuasive skills
• Ability to travel regularly for customer visits

Required skills

• Experience with API pumps (highly regarded)
• Negotiation and contract negotiation
