Provisional or Registered Psychologist

About the role

PeopleSense by Altius, a subsidiary of Altius providing psychological services since 1998, is hiring a Provisional or Registered Psychologist for its Busselton office. The role sits within the Psychology and Wellbeing department and offers flexible hybrid options, with the possibility of splitting time between Busselton and Margaret River. You will deliver a mix of therapeutic, assessment and workplace-focused services.

Key responsibilities

• Therapy and counselling with adults, adolescents, children and couples (EAP, private and Medicare-rebated clients)
• Workplace support and critical incident response, providing in-the-moment care for organisations and their people
• Injury and compensation work, supporting clients with trauma, adjustment, pain and recovery after injury
• Psychological assessments to inform treatment and workplace outcomes
• Multidisciplinary collaboration with rehabilitation consultants and allied health professionals
• Tailored projects and programs addressing specific organisational and client needs

Required profile

• Full or Provisional AHPRA registration as a psychologist
• Experience in workers' compensation, injury management or rehabilitation, or a strong interest in developing it
• Passion for working with young people, especially those aged 12 and under
• Full Australian working rights and ability to obtain a national police check
• Current driver's licence and a fully insured vehicle
