Property Manager - Caroline Springs Office

About the role

YPA is looking for a full-time Property Manager to join its expanding rental department in the Caroline Springs office. The role suits someone who wants to take the next step in their real estate career within a multi-award-winning rental team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a well-maintained and stable portfolio of rental properties
• Liaise with landlords and tenants
• Conduct open for inspections, entry and exit reports and routine inspections
• Market rental properties and review rental applications
• Manage rental arrears and handle insurance claims
• Prepare and attend tribunal applications and hearings
• Handle property repairs and maintenance, and prepare lease documentation
• Perform general rental administration tasks

Required profile

• Current Agent's Representative Certificate
• Current Victorian driver's licence and police check
• Solid understanding of the Victorian Residential and Commercial Tenancy Acts
• VCAT experience
• Previous experience preferred, but motivated applicants eager to learn are welcome

Required skills

• Business development skills and strong communication and client relationship skills
• Excellent computer skills; MS Office is essential
• Experience with Property Me and IRE systems is preferred but not essential
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
