Project Risk Manager - Defence & Infrastructure

About the role

Turner & Townsend is looking for a Senior or Professional Project Risk Manager to join its Infrastructure team in Adelaide. The role supports a critical infrastructure program within a nationally significant project and forms part of a project controls precinct team. It identifies, assigns ownership, analyses and reports on risks and opportunities, and captures mitigations, controls and actions for implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, assign and track risks and opportunities with clear ownership and mitigation strategies, working with the project controls precinct team
• Conduct Quantitative Risk Analyses (QRAs) to inform contingency levels, validate inputs and monitor risk exposure, providing scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis
• Develop and present risk dashboards, reports and presentations to stakeholders
• Model cash flows over time, assess escalation impacts and track risk exposure against the remaining risk budget
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams so risk insights fit into broader project planning, aligned with corporate risk standards
• Coordinate with the PCON team and precinct delivery teams to collate QRA inputs

Required profile

• Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain (or current) Australian Baseline Security Clearance, or UK citizenship with current UK clearance
• At least 4 years of risk management experience at a senior level
• Strong quantitative skills, commercial awareness and accuracy
• Comfortable working in a geographically dispersed team, including remote collaboration with client and site teams
• Clear communicator able to present complex data and insights
