Project Manager – South Australia

About the role

Join Laing O’Rourke’s AUKUS team to lead the delivery of the Nuclear‑Powered Submarine Construction Yard project in Osborne, South Australia. You will be responsible for managing a large multidisciplinary team and ensuring the project meets time, cost, quality and safety targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a large multidisciplinary team to deliver the overall project scope within agreed time, cost, quality and safety requirements.
• Drive high performance through collaboration, positive leadership, risk identification and stakeholder interface, supporting the Project Director in managing client and community expectations.
• Promote continuous improvement and innovation across the project.
• Build balanced teams, coach talent and develop skills.
• Influence and work with stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes for all parties.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams on complex infrastructure projects.
• Degree in engineering or construction management.
• Strong construction experience including planning, budgeting, procurement, risk and client management, and dispute resolution.
• Adaptable communication style for technical and senior stakeholder audiences.
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
