Project Manager – Infrastructure Solutions

About the role

KBR is seeking a junior to mid‑level Project Manager to deliver a portfolio of design and consulting projects within its Infrastructure Solutions business in Queensland. You will work on transport, maritime, water utilities and broader infrastructure projects, managing investigations, options analysis, planning and design activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects up to $20 million in capital cost, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and quality targets are met.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, building lasting client and colleague connections.
• Oversee investigations, planning, specifications, design and commissioning activities.
• Provide leadership to project teams, mentor junior staff and support business growth.

Required profile

• Engineering background with project management experience in Australian transport, maritime, water utilities or related infrastructure sectors.
• Proven ability to manage small to medium‑sized projects in a consulting environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external collaboration.
• Defence Security Clearance is a plus but not essential.

Required skills

• Project management certification (preferred, not essential).
• Stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Experience with investigations, planning, design and project engineering.
