Project Manager – Infrastructure

About the role

Join AECOM as a Project Manager – Infrastructure to lead the delivery of high‑quality civil infrastructure projects across the region. You will own projects from planning through mobilisation, construction and close‑out, working with top technical specialists and project professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and delivery of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and quality.
• Provide project leadership across the lifecycle, from early planning and constructability to commissioning and close‑out.
• Manage project risks, issues, opportunities and dependencies proactively.
• Oversee budgets, forecasting, cash flow, resources and commercial performance.
• Administer contracts, change management, claims and dispute resolution.
• Maintain strong project governance, reporting and controls.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline recognised by Engineers Australia.
• Proven experience managing delivery of roads, bridges or transport infrastructure projects.
• Experience across project development, construction delivery and contract administration.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to make timely decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Civil construction methodologies and road/bridge design.
• Project budgeting, programming and risk management.
• Knowledge of major contract forms such as AS 2124, AS 4300, D&C, Alliance.
• Project governance, quality, health & safety and risk management.
• RPEQ registration or ability to obtain it (highly regarded).
