Project Manager – Heritage Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, organised, and highly communicative Project Manager to lead unique heritage conservation and construction projects on Adelaide's most iconic buildings. You will join our award‑winning, family‑owned builder and manage projects from initiation through handover, ensuring the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project teams to deliver works on time, on budget, and to premium standards.
• Oversee day‑to‑day project management, ensuring compliance with HSEQ plans and processes.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and construction programmes across multiple projects.
• Collaborate with estimators to maintain competitive and accurate pricing.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, consultants, architects, trades, and suppliers.
• Prepare project documentation, including inductions, safety documents, and progress reports.
• Foster a solutions‑focused team environment and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 2+ years of project management experience in commercial construction, handling projects up to $5 M.
• Tertiary qualification in Building, Construction Management, Architecture, Design, or equivalent experience.
• Passion for heritage conservation or willingness to learn.
• Strong organisational skills, self‑motivation, and attention to detail.
• Excellent stakeholder management and professional communication abilities.
