Project Manager – Construction & Mining Projects

About the role

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is seeking experienced Project Managers to lead EPC/EPCM projects in the mining and minerals sector. Based in Brisbane, you will manage full project lifecycles across commodities such as gold, copper and iron ore, with regular site visits.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams on site, overseeing construction from commencement to handover.
• Drive budget, schedule and overall project delivery while meeting safety, quality and financial KPIs.
• Liaise with client representatives to maintain strong client‑contractor relationships.
• Enforce safe work practices, ensure training compliance and uphold HSE standards.
• Review site plans, assess risks and implement mitigation measures.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years experience in construction/project management, preferably in mining or minerals handling.
• Qualified professional engineering or trades background.
• Proven leadership and communication skills at all organisational levels.
• Current National Police clearance and unrestricted Australian work rights.
