Project Manager – Commercial Construction (up to $20M)

About the role

The company is a nationally award‑winning design & construct head contractor entering a high‑growth phase. They are seeking a driven Project Manager to lead Tier 1‑3 commercial projects valued up to $20 million, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of projects ranging from $400k to $20M, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget completion to award‑winning standards.
• Serve as primary contact for subcontractors, government authorities and blue‑chip clients, handling stakeholder communication and expectations.
• Oversee site setup, budget monitoring, regular reporting and final handover, maintaining strict compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing head‑contractor commercial projects within Australia, with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Adaptable problem‑solver who can thrive in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Professional communicator capable of building rapport with subcontractors and sophisticated clients.
