Project Manager - Client Implementations

About the role

Sentral is looking for a Project Manager, Client Implementations to own high-value client projects from kick-off through go-live and into ongoing support. As the main interface between Sentral and its customers, you will build trusted client relationships, bring structure to complex implementations and coordinate teams across Sales, Product, Engineering, Data Migration, Training, Support and Implementation. The role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment and keeps clients and cross-functional teams aligned.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end client implementations, from discovery and planning through go-live and transition to ongoing support.
• Act as the primary client contact, building strong relationships, managing expectations and delivering an excellent implementation experience.
• Lead project planning and governance, managing scope, timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, changes and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Implementation, Sales, Product, Engineering, Data Migration, Training and Support to deliver migrations, integrations, testing, training and deployment.
• Proactively resolve risks and escalations, support complex or at-risk engagements and continuously improve implementation processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of project management or consulting experience, ideally within a vendor environment.
• A recognised project management or Agile accreditation such as PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, CSP or PMI-ACP.
• Experience delivering government projects and managing stakeholders, budgets, resources, risks and competing priorities.
• Experience consulting on or configuring business software solutions and working in a SaaS environment.
• Background or experience in education and/or technology.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Working with Children Check, where required.

• Bonus: ETL or data preparation tools such as Tableau Prep; single sign-on (SAML, Microsoft Entra ID); DNS concepts and SSL certificate installation; data migration and systems integration projects.

The annual salary range is AUD 130,000 to 150,000 plus superannuation.
