Project Manager - BMS / HVAC

About the role

Carrier, a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, is hiring a Project Manager. The role covers the coordination and follow-through to completion of all aspects of projects, including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities and monitoring and summarising progress.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead BMS / HVAC projects from initiation to completion, keeping to project plans, timelines and budget.
• Work with clients to understand requirements, define project scope and deliverables.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, and prepare schedules, resource plans and cost estimates.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies.
• Hold regular status meetings, keep stakeholders informed and manage project documentation such as contracts, technical specifications and change orders.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for equipment and materials, and oversee installation, testing and commissioning.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the project team.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the BMS or HVAC industry.
• Ability to develop and deliver margin improvement strategies.
• Ability to develop and implement budgets.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
