Project Engineer - Lift Industry

About the role

KONE, a global leader in lifts and escalators, is seeking a Project Engineer to join its New Building Solutions team in Brisbane, QLD. The role works across multiple sites, overseeing and coordinating project rollouts through effective leadership, resource management and customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with Project Managers and key stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Lead, coach and develop site teams.
• Oversee installations to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Build strong relationships with customers, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
• Monitor site progress, productivity and installation schedules to ensure safe, timely and high-quality delivery.
• Coordinate the delivery, storage and distribution of materials, equipment and tools.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, records and compliance requirements.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company and site requirements.
• Proactively identify and resolve site risks, issues and constraints.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality and productivity.

Required profile

• Experience managing project delivery at site level.
• Lift industry experience highly regarded; a relevant trade or construction qualification is desired.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and compliance.
• Excellent planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, and the ability to influence positive outcomes.
• Current Australian driver's licence.
• Applicants must be a permanent resident or citizen of Australia or New Zealand.
