Project Engineer

About the role

BESIX Watpac is seeking a Project Engineer to join an exciting commercial construction project in Murray Bridge. You will help deliver high‑quality builds while ensuring safety, quality and environmental standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Drive safety policies and ensure compliance with OH&S legislation.
• Coordinate construction engineering activities to align with plans, designs and specifications.
• Interpret designs, contribute improvements and oversee tender processes.
• Assist in preparing site construction budgets, progress reports and monitor programme adherence.
• Attend site meetings and report progress to the site or project manager.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in building/construction or a recognised trade qualification.
• Strong communication, influencing and relationship‑building abilities at all business levels.
• Proven ability to work autonomously, make decisions and deliver results under pressure.
• Professionalism, maturity and logical problem‑solving skills.
