Project Engineer (Civil / Structural / Architectural)

About the role

Norman Asset Delivery is seeking a full‑time Project Engineer to join its Adelaide team. The role supports the planning, coordination and delivery of civil, structural and architectural projects across property and resources sectors, from early design through construction and commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate consultants (civil, structural, architect).
• Review designs for constructability, cost and risk.
• Support feasibility studies and early‑stage planning.
• Assist with procurement, tender review and contractor selection.
• Manage construction‑phase issues such as RFI responses and variations.
• Liaise with clients, councils and contractors.

Required profile

• Strong project engineering and management experience in civil, structural or architectural projects.
• Proven ability in project planning, scheduling, resource coordination and milestone tracking.
• Effective communication with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams.
• Foundational knowledge of electrical engineering principles and ability to coordinate with other disciplines.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil, structural or architectural engineering.
• Experience on property, infrastructure or resources projects with site exposure.
• Familiarity with Australian standards, building codes and WHS requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage competing priorities and maintain high technical accuracy.
