Project Coordinator (Site Conversion Advisor)

About the role

Ampol Retail is looking for a Site Conversion Advisor to support the delivery of site conversions across its network, acting as a link between frontline teams and the Centre of Excellence. Working with Site Managers, contractors, vendors and program teams, you will coordinate activities, give operational guidance, manage issues and risks and help ensure each conversion is delivered safely, consistently and with minimal disruption. The role is a 12-month contract with flexible location in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne.

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of site conversion activities across the network.
• Coordinate activities with Site Managers, contractors, vendors and central program teams.
• Provide first-level support and triage by phone, email and Microsoft Teams.
• Identify, document and escalate risks, issues and dependencies.
• Deliver site readiness, progress updates and reporting to support program governance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, operational and program standards.
• Provide practical operational support drawing on frontline retail experience.

Required profile

• Experienced Store Manager with strong operational knowledge and a passion for supporting others through change.
• Experience leading frontline retail operations.
• Strong understanding of site operations, safety and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities while keeping attention to detail.
• Confidence navigating systems, processes and operational change.
