Project Coordinator - Protective Coatings

About the role

Veolia is looking for an experienced Project Coordinator with NACE/AMPP 2 certification to join its Industrials & Energy WA team at the Protective Coating facility in Henderson. The role supports project managers and field teams in delivering protective coating projects, covering communication, documentation, scheduling and administrative support so projects stay on track, on budget and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain project documentation, schedules, timelines and status reports
• Manage contracts, compliance documentation and project closeout reports
• Coordinate schedules with field teams, subcontractors and material suppliers
• Act as the main link between office and field teams, communicating with project managers, clients and vendors
• Monitor project budgets, process invoices and purchase orders and prepare cost reports
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and keep safety documentation
• Coordinate site logistics, equipment staging and vendor management

Required profile

• NACE/AMPP 2 certification is a must-have
• 10+ years of industry experience, including 5+ years in a similar role
• Trade qualification
• Experience in project coordination, management and planning
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and solve problems proactively

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Primavera
• Advanced Excel skills
• SAP experience
• Strong organisational, multi-tasking, communication and stakeholder management skills
