Project Coordinator - Expression of Interest

About the role

Built, a privately owned construction company operating across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, is looking for a Project Coordinator in Melbourne. The role supports control of all aspects of contract administration, including preparing, reviewing, maintaining and negotiating variations to minimise risk exposure on projects.

Key responsibilities

• Administration: prepare trade package tender documentation, prepare and monitor the program for pre-completion activities, procure trades, and set up and manage the defects register
• Contracts management and cost control: send tender packages to subcontracts, maintain project control registers, help prepare monthly cost reports and forecasts
• Quality: follow Integrated Management System policies and recommend design changes that improve efficiency
• Exposure to quality and HSE project requirements, with regular communication with client stakeholders

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Building, Construction or Engineering
• Related work experience in a similar role, with head contractor and subcontractor knowledge (ideal)
• Ability to negotiate and influence outcomes
• Focused on quality, able to assess risk and pay attention to detail
• Initiative, adaptability and an innovative mindset
