Window Tinter - Residential & Commercial Installation Specialist

About the role

A family-run business specialising in architectural window film installations is seeking a skilled Window Tinter for a permanent full-time role in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The technician applies window film to residential and commercial sites across the metropolitan area, working independently on varied projects. The salary is $65,000 to $90,000 per year plus superannuation; sponsorship and work visas are not accepted.

Key responsibilities

• Travel independently to residential and business sites within the metropolitan region.
• Prepare glass surfaces so that the film adheres well and finishes cleanly.
• Measure and manually cut window films to project specifications.
• Apply tinting films carefully to achieve neat, high-quality results.
• Manage several jobs each day, which may include multiple small jobs or one larger commercial installation.
• Keep workmanship to a high standard and finish daily duties by mid-afternoon.

Required profile

• Proven ability to measure, cut and apply window tinting film accurately.
• Experience in architectural tinting, vinyl wrapping, signage application or glazing is an advantage.
• Right to work in Australia with permanent residency or equivalent status.
• Willingness to obtain the required industry and compliance certifications, including a construction safety card, a valid driver's licence, a police clearance and a working with children check.
