Program Lead

About the role

The Transport Accident Commission is seeking a Program Lead to translate strategy into action, strengthen organisational capability and provide thought leadership for road safety education and community programs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of education and community‑based road safety programs, ensuring effective delivery, continuous improvement and meaningful outcomes for Victorian communities.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with education providers, community organisations and other stakeholders to support collaboration and innovation.
• Monitor program outcomes, governance, risks and performance measures, using evidence and insights to identify opportunities for enhancement.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading complex programs, projects or initiatives with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Strong relationship‑building and influencing capabilities, with experience working collaboratively across diverse stakeholders and partners.
• Experience in education and community programs, public health, prevention or social marketing, with an understanding of how programs can influence behaviours.
