Production Operator / Baker – Forestville

About the role

Goodman Fielder's Forestville site in South Australia is looking for qualified bakers and machine operators to join its operations. The positions cover process operators across the production and slicing areas, ensuring production targets and compliance processes are met. Key responsibilities

• Operate machinery and equipment according to safe operating procedures.
• Carry out start-up procedures, machine and equipment set-ups, operational processes and cleaning processes correctly.
• Report and record all food safety and quality incidents accurately within the specified time frames.
• Complete the quality assurance and food safety induction and competency assessment.
• Attend all relevant training programs.
• Aim to achieve AERR and waste targets.
• Take an active part in weekly and monthly departmental meetings.

Required profile

• Previous food industry experience or machine operation/process work experience is desirable.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to practice and display good manufacturing practice (GMP) and health and safety standards.
• Quality awareness.
