Production Manager – Fashion Apparel

About the role

We are seeking a commercially minded, highly organised Production Manager to lead the end‑to‑end production process for our contemporary womenswear collections. You will work closely with designers, a garment technologist and offshore manufacturers to deliver collections on time, to spec and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full production lifecycle from development handover and sampling through bulk manufacturing to final delivery.
• Partner with designers and the garment technologist to align design intent, technical specifications and production timelines.
• Develop and maintain critical paths for seasonal collections, new product launches and ongoing production.
• Manage relationships with offshore manufacturers, ensuring clear communication, accountability and consistency.
• Coordinate sampling, fit approvals, pre‑production requirements and bulk production sign‑offs.
• Monitor progress, identify potential delays or quality issues early, and take corrective action.
• Negotiate production costs, pricing, minimum order quantities and lead times.
• Ensure finished garments meet quality, fit, construction and commercial viability standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Production Manager or senior production role in fashion or apparel.
• Strong technical understanding of garment construction, fabrication, fit, sampling and manufacturing processes.
• Experience managing offshore suppliers, timelines, costings and quality expectations.
• Ability to translate creative concepts into commercially achievable products.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills.
