Production Administrator

About the role

MineARC Systems builds technology that protects people in demanding working environments. It is looking for a highly organised and proactive Production Administrator to support its busy manufacturing operations, working closely with production and workshop teams so that manufacturing runs smoothly, efficiently and on schedule. The role covers production documentation, job scheduling, record keeping and liaison with internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain and track internal production projects from start to finish
• Create and maintain production orders and project records through the ERP system
• Enter sales orders and process customer invoices, production orders and project transactions
• Coordinate documentation for manufacturing, quality, inventory and project control
• Monitor project budgets, committed costs and invoicing milestones
• Update and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing data
• Assist with production planning, scheduling, job costing and production reporting
• Support stock control, inventory transactions and material movements
• Handle project purchasing as required and maintain document control
• Provide general administrative support to the Production team

Required profile

• Previous experience in administration, production administration, operations administration or manufacturing support
• Experience supporting project costing, budgeting, invoicing or financial administration in a manufacturing, engineering or project-based environment
• Experience with ISO9001:2008 quality systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Required skills

• Understanding of project costs, inventory movements, work in progress and customer invoicing
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and data accuracy
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with Bills of Materials and SAP is highly regarded
