Product Technical Trainer

About the role

The Product Technical Trainer will develop and deliver hands‑on training for Kubota’s agricultural and construction machinery across Australia and New Zealand. You will work closely with dealers, service teams and customers to enhance product knowledge, safety and operational capability.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training needs analysis and design tailored training programmes for diverse audiences.
• Deliver face‑to‑face instructor‑led sessions, equipment demonstrations and on‑site coaching.
• Create and maintain training materials, guides, presentations and practical learning resources.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support product launches with structured sessions and field demonstrations.
• Collect and analyse product performance data, technical issues and customer service metrics for reporting.
• Represent Kubota at external events such as product launches, field days and industry exhibitions.

Required profile

• Secondary education with a mechanical trade qualification (heavy vehicle, diesel mechanic, agricultural machinery or automotive).
• Certification in Training and Assessment (strongly preferred).
• Valid driver’s licence, passport and ability to travel interstate and internationally.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with agricultural, construction or industrial machinery.
• Proven ability to develop content, facilitate training and coach field personnel.

Required skills

• Mechanical trade skills – heavy vehicle, diesel mechanic, agricultural machinery.
• Training delivery and adult‑learning principles.
• Proficiency with SAP, MS SharePoint, MS Office/Google Suite and LMS platforms.
• Use of Copilot/AI tools for content creation.
