First Aid Trainer

About the role

St John WA, a not-for-profit organisation providing pre-hospital care and first aid training in Western Australia, is looking for an experienced Trainer & Assessor to deliver First Aid courses in the Metro Region. The role involves teaching on weekends and during the week, at least two days per week.

Required profile

• Knowledge of first aid guidelines and regulations, including ANZCOR and ARC guidelines.
• Previous experience delivering First Aid training (highly desirable).
• Current TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent, with a copy provided with the application.
• Current 'C' or 'CA' class driver's licence.
• Willingness to obtain a current HLTAID011 Provide First Aid certificate and a Working with Children Card if successful.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage and inspire learners.
• Planning and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility and availability to work both weekdays and weekends.
