Product Specialist - Joint Reconstruction, Brisbane

About the role

A permanent full-time Product Specialist position is open within the Joint Reconstruction Team in Queensland, based in Brisbane. You will sell and support the Hip and Knee joint replacement solutions, including VELYS, the company's robotic and digital technology ecosystem. The role is commission-based clinical sales to surgeons.

Key responsibilities

• Build relationships with orthopaedic surgeons and promote and drive sales of the products, achieving revenue targets across the portfolio
• Identify customer needs, generate leads, present product information and tailor solutions to support customers
• Provide clinical support during surgical cases, deliver education and in-service training to surgeons, registrars and theatre staff, and support new product launches
• Maintain market and competitor analysis, give regular feedback and collaborate within a team to serve customers and patients

Required profile

• Degree qualified with proven hospital sales and territory management skills, preferably in orthopaedics
• Understanding of the local orthopaedic market and a track record of building professional, strategic relationships
• Organised, team-oriented and able to challenge customers constructively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence stakeholders
• Frequent travel to hospitals within Brisbane Metro; right to work in Australia, a reliable car and a valid driver licence
