Product Sales Development Representative (Sydney)

About the role

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. As a Product Sales Development Representative (SDR) in Sydney, you will connect prospective customers with Stripe in a customer-facing role, working with Marketing and Sales to build a high-quality, predictable pipeline. New hires join the Sales Development Associate program, mentored by a senior SDR, with training through virtual sessions, in-person practicums and quizzes.

Key responsibilities

• Contact potential customers through cold-calling, email and social channels, or by responding to marketing-generated inquiries
• Book meetings with prospects and pitch matching Stripe products
• Build relationships with prospects to uncover needs and qualify interest, then hand off qualified leads to sales
• Create outreach materials for high-value prospects with SDRs and Account Executives
• Run outbound outreach created by Marketing and follow up on interested prospects to keep a warm pipeline
• Meet SLAs, update activity and contact data in Salesforce, and give feedback to Marketing on targeting and messaging

Required profile

• A track record of top performance or prior success in academic, extracurricular or professional endeavors
• Superior verbal and written communication, able to explain complex topics clearly
• Self-starter who works autonomously in a hyper-growth environment
• In-office presence three days per week in the Sydney office

Preferred: professional experience in sales, customer service or a fast-paced environment. The stated OTE range is A$96,000 - A$144,000, which includes base salary and sales commission targets, and varies by location and experience.
