Product Manager - Auction Core

About the role

Publift, an Adtech company founded in 2015 that helps online publishers maximise revenue from display ads, is hiring a Product Manager in Sydney. You will own discovery and roadmap delivery end to end for one or more product areas around the auction core, including tooling, workflows and platform capabilities used by publishers and internal teams. This is a genuine ownership role: you own the initiative, its roadmap, backlog and user conversations, and are accountable for outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own discovery, prioritisation and roadmap delivery, building an evidence-based roadmap from customer, user and business needs
• Turn publisher feedback, internal signals and support patterns into a scored, prioritised backlog and make trade-offs clear to stakeholders
• Write clear problem statements and specifications that engineers can build from directly
• Partner with Engineering, Data Science and Commercial teams: surface risks early, make pragmatic scope trade-offs and take shipped work through measurement and iteration
• Talk regularly with customers and internal users so their input shapes the roadmap

Required profile

• 3+ years in a product management role with end-to-end ownership of technical products or features
• Track record of shipping in a technical domain, working closely with engineering
• Experience managing products with different levels of customers and users, including operational or internal-facing products with complex workflows
• Fluent in writing specs, PRDs or equivalent artefacts that others build from
• Comfortable with data, for example SQL or spreadsheet-level analysis, and treats AI tooling as leverage in agent-assisted workflows
• Full-time Australian working rights and willingness to complete a National Police Record check
