Procurement Specialist

About the role

JDE Peet's, now part of Keurig Dr Pepper, is looking for a proactive and commercially minded Procurement Specialist to join its Procurement team in North Sydney. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will support sourcing, supplier management and procurement activities across direct and indirect spend categories, working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure continuity of supply and support strategic procurement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing and supplier management: lead and support sourcing and tender activities (RFx), manage supplier relationships and performance, and support contract negotiations and supplier agreements.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements and value creation.
• Partner with stakeholders across Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Marketing and Sales, providing procurement expertise and commercial support to business projects.
• Support purchasing and sourcing across assigned categories, monitor supplier performance, risks and compliance, and contribute to procurement reporting, savings tracking and continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation and contract records.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Commerce or a related discipline.
• Experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing or category management.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
• Experience in FMCG, food and beverage, manufacturing or a similar industry is highly regarded.

Required skills

• Exposure to SAP or other ERP systems is advantageous.
