Process Worker - Food Manufacturing

About the role

A fast-paced food manufacturing team in Gilles Plains, South Australia is looking for a dedicated Process Worker. This is a permanent, full-time position in which you help run the production line efficiently and uphold the highest standards of quality, hygiene and safety for the food products made.

Key responsibilities

• Operate machinery and equipment in the food production process
• Assist in the preparation and packaging of food products
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the work area, following HACCP food safety standards
• Monitor production processes and report any issues to supervisors
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to keep the workplace safe
• Take part in training and development programs as required

Required profile

• Experience in food production is essential
• Good fitness, able to lift up to 20kg and operate and move plant equipment and machinery
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude and ability to work in a team and follow instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good communication skills
